I've been waiting ten years for 'crystals' to happen ;) I'm still waiting.
Imaging making a 'virtual computer' by creating the boolean logic in software.
Then use holographic laser pictures by allowing them to create dots where their beams intersect in the air. Of course you would need some hardware to fire them up, but the possibilities :) .Ah yes, let the crystal be super conducting too.
