You may be missing the point. I've been told how much Mpants wants to stamp out BS information. How he comes here to call out the cranks. Well, he is standing as one man against the music world now by lying about the Melodic Minor scale formula. And the only reason he did so was to create more confusion. I refuse to think a man that has played an instrument as long as he has can actually not know the correct formula for that scale.

And yes, the world moves on. I'll play it the way everyone else does, and spell it the right way, and the one man against the world can get strange looks from other musicians when he plays the wrong scale.

He should admit his lie, but I don't think he is actually man enough, after everything else he has said and tried to do.

I won't be answering you Mpants, unless it is to thank you for providing a link where the Melodic minor scale is spelt W H W W W W* H. You won't be able to, because, as you know, that is what everyone else knows as the Harmonic minor scale. It makes a big difference to how our conversation evolved.
