FSX is a very good computer-joystick flight simulator game.
On the simulator I have chartered a flight from Lisbon Portugal to Manila Philippines on a Boeing 747-400, with a heading of 55 degrees, an altitude hold 23,500 feet, an 369 knots airspeed hold, with auto-pilot and backcouse systems activated. The route give a very picturesque flight from Lisbon-Portugal through Spain, France, Germany, Poland, Russia, China, to Manila-Philippines. A distance of 6554.9 Nautical Miles and a flying time of 12Hours 58minutes. The plane will use 10 Tonnes of Avgas per hour and only have 3 hours Avgas left when it reaches it's destination. This is a very good game that has the potential to be improved vastly.
The global scenery can be video-mode `picture postcard' perfect from every angle and every altitude. Including every resort, hotel, building, shop, factory, lake, river, ship, island - and be the basis foundation to sell real-estate world-wide as-well as selling holiday locations, promoting tourism and scenic and historic locations to visit as-well as selling hotel-rooms around the world. It could be improved further by giving the computer-joystick Pilot, when he is flying around an interesting city an option to press a button on the computer and then magically he is magically placed into the drivers seat of a Lamborghini on the ground in the city he was flying over and could driver around the streets of the city of his interest with picture-postcard quality graphics. When he has contented himself with driving around the city he could press another button and pilot the plane further on it's course.
There is a vast amount of even bigger advancements that could be built into this modified FSX program. When piloting the plane of your choice you could press another button that would give you a selection of commercial and military planes and cars. You could select an Apache Helicopter and instantly pilot that directly from GPS position you were up-to in the previous aircraft and hover around the city, fly to a public park and land the helicopter. Then press another button to materialize a Lamborghini or any commercially available car within the program. Step out of the helicopter, walk to the car and drive around a city. All the streets, shops, venues would be in the computers very large external USB hard drive. The interiors of every venue of interest could be uploaded by connecting to the Internet. You could park a Trans-Am Pontiac in a shopping center car par and walk to large Casino with Discotheque and thousands of people. You could connect to the Internet live and walk around the interior of the video surveyed discotheque and sit down and listen to the concert. You could walk over to the casino section and access every game live as if you were in the Las Vegas Casino and place wagers on the gaming tables live with the actual casino and have winning directly deposited into your credit card within ten minutes. You could visit the food court and look at the menu's at the restaurants. You could have your children at the restaurant call you on their mobile that are at the restaurant and you would be able to see them live with streaming video. You could look at the menu's and buy the a 3 course meal then walk to the hotel room and talk with the staff live with streaming video and booking them a hotel room for them in real time. You may have a relative in a hospital on the other side of the world and like wise you could upload the interior of the hospital, walk around, talk with reception to find the hospital room bed they are in and visit your relative live with streaming video. You could be interested in buying a house on the other side of the world. You could drive to the auction and inspect the property on sale with your computer and make bids in real time on the Internet and buy the house. There may be an in seminar happening at a famous University of your choice. You could select a jet-ranger helicopter from the auction position and pilot it to the University then step out, walk to the room where the course is in progress and sit in on the lecture in real time and the University would give you certified accreditation/authentication that you sat the lecture. The possibilities and opportunities are fantastic.
