Have you seen the movie- 'star trek- the rise of borgs'. In that movie it seems its made in future. In one scene, the actor plays a simulation so that borgs catches hold of an electronic imagery lifelike and tries to scan its brain. Then are the people sitting on the other side of the internet, humans? Or some advanced beings with a panel from which you people from a push of a button, creep in a simulation in a reality. Perhaps to study humans. Like a dream in a reality, where the emotions and behavior are just electronic manipulations stated year after same year, but at a different specific time period. Then the flora and fauna might be just an electronic living interface. There might also be a mode from where some people might be moving to n' fro from reality to dreamworld.

I don't think I'm following the logic of this post completely, but it sounds like this poster is intensely alienating themselves from the reality that all intereactions between living things are real, however mediated. The "people sitting on the other side of the internet" are indeed as human as you are, because you are one of those people to someone else.
