I see this technology unfolding differently.
By the end of this century, it is highly probable that we will learn to live in digital form, communicating with each other by thoughts and connected to a futuristic Internet called the ‘global brain’.
Living digitally would not require physical bodies. We could send ourselves as information through the Internet to our destination arriving anywhere almost instantly; and on arrival create a body for appearances if necessary.
Existing in a body-free world would free us to focus on developing warp drive space ships, faster-than-light travel systems, and harnessing black holes and wormholes which would enable us to transport ourselves instantly to vast distances in space, or back and forward through time.
Evolution of the human body could go like this: today we’re mostly biological; tomorrow, non-biological nanomaterials; and after tomorrow, digital.
I think that on the evolutionary path to a transcendental existence, human beings will at some point exist in something analogous to a shared digital network. In our present forms we likely experience consciousness at an electrochemical level, and we need our bodies and sensory organs to facilitate action and information exchange. When we develop a more efficient system than the present one, it only makes sense to use it, nature has been doing it for 4.5 billion years now, I see no reason for her to change now or in the future. The logical extension of a "global brain" is the loss of the individual, at least as far as the network is concerned. When all individuals are able to instantly share experiences, they all essentially become the same, just another sensory node of the collective consciousness. Under this scenario, I guess our present existence could be considered an embryonic state of godhood.

Teleportation seems like faxing yourself to some place in time.
Actually, it's more like putting yourself through the fax, and then putting the original copy in the shredder.

Thats what the Star Trek teleportation room would seem to do. Pulling your atoms of your body apart to travel to some place doesn't make much sense unless your mind is an immortal computer program of experiences, However stepping into the teleportation room still seem like suicide because from philosophical perceptions it's difficult to understand continuity like saying your identical twin is yourself, yes perhaps kind of but i wouldn't blow my mind over the subject because your identical twin might beg to differ with respect to your opinion. Perhaps there would have to be a joining of the minds(with technology) then stepping into the other copy? philosophically?

I would imagine that given the problem of materializing whatever in the flesh the materialization technology would have to be in the flesh contained in nanotubes perhaps.
Experimentation with such technology would perhaps enable:
Lead too the production of linear transmitters `Digital Integrated Circuits'
that would all interconnect with each-other initially.
Each transmitter would/could perhaps obtain energy from the medium it was in; like`flesh' by thermopile means.
The transmission power between two transmitters wouldn't be very far. However with a mega-pixel neural network of such transmitters the whole human body could be interconnected.
Retina cells could be cloned/cultivated. The transmitters would be chemically attached in the cultivation solution.
The modified retina cells could then be simply injected/grafted/layered/coated/grown onto damaged retina too restore sight. Computer systems would analyze the signals of whats what signal coming from where until images are perfectly focused.
Another application would be that such mega-pixel neural network of transmitters could be built into a contact lens that would enable your palm computer to continuously record everything you're looking at when on a holiday.
Your palm computer could perhaps play someone else's holiday through your high tech contact lenses. Alternately you're fantastic holiday could become a source of income from royalties.

The bionic dig:
Excavating areas to save humans trapped in horrible circumstances could be enhanced with sound bionic technology. When something blows up, there could be numerous people amongst the debris alive. Sniffer dogs could have their hearing enhanced to allow them to selectively find and rescue every person instead of them all coming together to find the same person in the middle of the area from every angle. When the dog finds someone in a suitable position the implants would send the GPS details to the rescue squad. Paramedissions could then talk to the person with their mobile/cellphone with sound comming from the dogs bionic larynx implant as-well as hearing everything the dog hears said to him from the bug in the dogs throat.

Mind control, even trans-time mind control with nano-micro-transmitters within the nervous system could make use of the known information contained within the brain and merely control neural interactions that would be perceived by the host individual as I thought of it fact.

Nano tube transmitters placed into an fertilized swallow tail egg that would chemically attach at every cell division would give computer-systems the best insight yet into reproduction and experienced. Computers could eavesdrop/monitor every cell division as well as the every step of fetal assembly from conception to birth.

I have such a wealth of interesting post in the past 3 years, I thought I would bring this on up. Add to it and i will feed from it and we might get a conversation!. Face it the topic subjects people are posting are so boring that people begrudgingly respond for lack of nothing less to respond to. Talk to me. Notice the soultech signature, Thats like the signature i sliped in on Sunday to help the stock markets, and guess what Wall street had the bigest 936 rise in history. Im going to keep that gem in reserve.

That reminds me, the USA stock market is going to open in about three hours, so I have to re introduce/compose a global signature. If you make billioms of dollars on Wall street today, kiss my pe toot and send me a million out of gratitude, lol this is fun.

Don't be so surprised. This was a trully global hit that went around the world and incorporated into sitcom lingo, commersial breakes dialoge, Now noone on eath can say NOT in anger without invoking the quantum magnum power of .369 mag 1 knot per second, 9 in two twist rifling 9.38 mm (That's it lol)
Nine in two twist lol? Do you want to cum out? lol I do KNOT!!!

Who the hell is Olaf, the dumb git that gave me the most recent neg, All Laugh Olive Anus, Who/what do you think you are, I have made over 1500 scientific post under numeruos pennames, what are you? have you ever made a post. What I didnt contribute? recently? yes? but thats because the furum is stufed with MoFM, focus your attentions of uncontribution to threads on the MoFM scum such as N O M, TheDOc, Neonom, kill those bastards, I have made 1500 scientific post under my pennames, but they have made 2500 insults irrelevant to a topic, LOOK at the MoFM and their post or i will rip your heart out through your but lol, excrusiatingly good!!!!
