I sometimes wonder about those Great People like Stevie Wonder (Musician), Stephen Hawkings (Astro Physicist), Helen Keller (Author) etc.

They are in the category of Disabled i.e Blind, Deaf or Dumb, suffering from Disease. But aren't they exceptional in rising to those Great Heights in their fields ?
..
What qualities do they attribute ? viz Will Power, Determination etc

My Opinion
----------------

Take a Example of Stevie Wonder, Singer, Musician etc. He was Born Blind. Music requires aptitude, even he was born blind, he has sung and composed so many wonderful songs.

He can play so many variety of musical instruments viz Vocals, synthesizer, piano, keyboards, harmonica, clavinet, drums, bass guitar, congas, bongos, melodica, keytar, accordion.

He got the Gershwin Award for Lifetime Achievement. He rightly deserves it. He isn't exceptional ?

"Disabled people have proved to the World that quality and mental strength can broke the prejudice barrier to succeed."

Determination, Will Power, Mental Strength & Toughness are the attributes they possess.

isn't it ?

Talent also . The word also whispers to them . Whether they know it or not . I heard Michael Jackson explain it once . I understood every word he said also . He said he didn't do it . He went some place and it was given to him .

See I understand that . Jimi Hendrix was the same way . He wrote most of his songs on the spot and they flowed out like water . He was in a different place when he would do that . Beyond inspiration . It came from a different place . Steve Wonder that guy is the Man . Ah Yeah . That dude is tapped in hard . Be be like the Beatles in his mountainous ways of the ocean .
She that right there ? Mountainous ways of the ocean is a clue for you non artsy farts .
Was it Beethoven? I think it was . See his name meant river our pond . River I think . So back in the day and after his death they would say < Beethoven is an Ocean not just a river . As some of you know he was deaf also , but he was not born deaf . He cursed " God" for letting him hear only to take it away . He also heard the music talking. Yeah voices in his head or was the music really talking to him . See Me it is more lyrical than melodic . I am pretty sure for Beethoven it was more Melodic . He heard the music as language .
I may of twisted that a little or took liberties at guessing how Beethoven thought about it , but He did claim to hear the music as voices talking to him . I am guessing in the melodicness of music is where he heard the language . The same one I am always hammering about . It is in every thing and Micheal Jackson said the same thing in his own way of interpreting the happenings of it all.

There is a song by Stevy Wonder that simply blows my mind. Well most all of his many many songs do , but this one more than the rest . I can't remember the name . It says Zimbabwe in it though and it all relates.

See us Musicians are trying to tell you something . The only way we can tell is in the song . We conspire together to bring you to it . See Mary my musical partner she goes to the same place . She don't quite know it or know where she goes . I seen her Grand son do the same thing . Blows my mind . The things that come out of there mouths . It is like Whaa Whaa Whadju say.

O.K. one thing about the struggle ? If you lived it you can tell it and it comes out in the showing of it that you lived it . It is what the blues is made of. To rise in the face of adversity . Getting back on the horse is another way of expressing it in cowboy culture . Oh No! Mekigal is back on his high horse again . Riding My pigmy pony picking white fluffy dental floss . Going to Montana soon.

They say Beethoven forgave God on his death bed . I don't know if that on is a rumor or confirmed ?
