We all know about the occasional "explosions" that happen to Trolls, Cranks, and Bots, etc.
What is the final result of an "implosion", where someone goes off, but has no warnings?
This seems like new, unexplored territory.

What do you mean by "go off" or by "implosion?" In my mind the opposite of a typical crank explosion is when the crank simply disappears. Take General Andrew Strasser as an example. Last post as Zarabtul, March 27, posted as Speculative_Genius for a short while, last post May 19. Zarabtul had 3 warnings and Speculative_Genius only had 1, but suddenly there was silence. What happened? Died of a seizure? The men in white coats burst through the door? He's posting through a new sockpuppet but finally learned not to sign off as General Andrew Strasser? Started taking the right meds and decided cranking physorg was a waste of his time? Inquiring minds want to know.
