when a visible light strikes a surface(colored), certain frequencies get absorbed while the others get reflected. But these exited electrons can take in the visible light approaching it( having the frequency it previously absorbed) and hence it would quickly jump back to previous energy level releasing the electromagnetic wave of than frequency. If this wave is released, our eyes should get it eventually. So what am i missing here/ how do our eyes handle this?

Because a jump directly to the ground state is not the most likely outcome in a multi-electron atom in a dense gas, liquid or solid.

In general the systems are complex, and have broad absorption bands -- they have multiple options on how to decay to a lower energy state.

Simple example, the He-Ne laser, which depends on complex interactions to emit monochromatic laser light.

If you are banned, at least take it like a grown-up and stop the tantrums,

So the unjust ban is to be the justification for the unjust ban, and when the victim presents the record to support his case for just re-instatement he is not a 'grown up' for standing up against injustice in all its forms?

My, how 'expedient' is your logic and your view of what a victim should do or not do, and that a victim's posts presenting his case calmly and effectively are (in your eyes) only "tantrums"!

How shoddy your sense of reality and fair play is! So amusing! Are you yourself a 'grown up'? Not by the sound of it! laugh.gif

I've been banned from here. So the hell what?

Get a grip.

The difference was one wanted to stay and the other didn't care for the forum.

Your posting history here is a multi-year campaign of rape against logic and science. You only assert that revocation of your privileges was unjust, nowhere do you argue the point.]

All assertion and no corroboration...sounds just like all of RC's posts.

I generally only have eyes for legitimate posters. I also find all the crying tedious in this case.
