Oppenhemier said that an electron and a proton annihilation give two protons..........
And the strong gravity of the big crunch gravity is not a weak force.
So it overcomes the strong nuclear force and the electromagnetic force resulting in electrons and protons being in the same space and time in the same place and so they annihilate producing the energy that drives the big bang.
