I live in a third-floor flat in a large block of flats in London and I receive my Freeview signals through an indoor aerial because the block I live in does not have a rooftop aerial. My Freeview reception is prone to a certain amount of interference from various sources in the building and surrounding area, including possibly a nearby tube line. Also, when I use my shredding machine, this causes interference. The result of all this interference is that the picture sometimes becomes rather blocky and sometimes the sound cuts out. Sometimes there is a complete loss of signal when the interference becomes overwhelming.

I gather that in April, Crystal Palace will increase the power of all Freeview TV signals from 20kw to 200kw. Will this make my Freeview reception completely immune to all the interference?
