The big crunch may have started in a 10 large spacial dimension universe with circular orbits where the atoms are unstable.
According to Hawking and Moldinov electrons would either spiral into the nucleus of the atom or fly off into space or both.
If it is both protons without electrons are bound togther by stong gravity of the big crunch.
To a nucleus with an electron spiralling into the nucleus.
This new state of matter transforms the potential energy of the big crunch into the kinetic energy of the big bang this state of matter is very unstable and gives rise to the quark gluon plasma predicted by CERN.
Opposite charge particles X and Y cannot be in the same state at the same time in the same place except in the big crunch prior to the big bang.
And when gravity is strong enough it overcomes the strong nuclear force and the oppositely charged particles are in the same place state and time.
Then they produce the big bang.
