So supose there is sun light, which going though small slit to produce coherent light and then this ligh going through double slits and after each slit there is small polarizer (polarized glass). So what we will see on screen (ecran)? Interference fingers or no-interference? I think that there will not be interference (maybe very very small, but invisible).

Of course I am talking about polarized waves with ortogonal polarizations, where through one slit goes horizontal polarized waves and through over - vertical. But you can share your opinion also about the sam polarization waves, but I think they probably 100% will interference biggrin.gif

I vote "no" when it comes to light interfering with light. If light waves could interfere with one another, the stars would not appear as point sources.

I think you don't understand about what I talking. Because I write about polarizated waves and sun waves are of many waves, which each have diferent polarization agnle... And if you want to know, waves from stars don't interfere, because they all stars is very far and almost like one source and thus they emiting waves coherently and some waves randomly interfere destructivly and somes constructivly and at all there is random mixed visible light. In double slit experiment light isinterfering becouse the same wave going through two slits and then difracting and then interfere...with itself...
