The study that they were working on there and actually looking for people to join the study. The study was to attach some form of bio-electronic device to the brain stem that might be able to with learning to connect to a computer through the device. I haven't seen any information since this study started and would wonder what advances they have made in this technology since I first became interested in it back in 2000.

Maybe we could ask some of those people from Australia like those intelligence agents for those who've been around awhile like SyndicateRPE as he was from Australia. Maybe some other people from there could explain this as well. It has totally dropped off the radar from what I've seen even though i know they had the grant money and had moved forward with finding test subjects.

Take it that's a no....

Oh wait weak...

G'day cobber. do you mean this http://www.abc.net.au/science/news/stories/s116668.htm if you do maybe you could contact the university or check out the published data, as i have not heard any more than the article posted.

Interesting article, but I remember reading it in a science magazine and being very interested in it. It was to actually make a permanent link with a computer that would be attached at the top of the spine in the form of some kind of electronic device.

Definatly funny....

I like that kind of noninvasive technology kjw. It's creative thinking behind it.

Yes and if you sign up now,and bring a friend you get $100.00
As you can tell I am linked to the mainframe tongue.gif

well i am assuming the photo in the article is not how the treatment is performed ie not quite noninvasive is it haha

oh yeah. i wonder if during this research phenomena similar to the god helmet thing occurred ? ie did the patients experience weird stuff. and its kind of spooky that you can alter what rises to the conscious mind through external electromagnetic manipulation. maybe the idea in the matrix of jacking in, is out dated. maybe we can have wireless access instead ph34r.gif

rethinker Ahh, that thread (or is it those? ;)

kjw I've been waiting for people trying to stimulate points inside the brain by using two or more 'beams' that will produce effects only when crossing each other. Or maybe by introducing a magnetic field around a persons head and then use some kind of electromagnetic interference by 'beams' or other means. The importance would be on how to be able to concentrate a effect on a given point in a 3D matrix. I'm sure its possible, and it would be non invasive as no instruments are introduced inside the brain. Also i would expect the stimulation to lay at such a level that it would be non harmful to living tissue.
Zarabtul
it would depend on the radiation level of the testing object....

Even electrodes or light can do this though these would be the most likely targets. The problem is the interference brain causes. Also muscles in your face, many interesting problems for the testing of the brain. This on top of our current use of monitors that get about 1-1/2" max ito the head before there is too much interference They would need to have band-pass filters on them to block out the noise ranges that are causing the static. Other than that grab a Sat. they can see everything...

Keep that away from me and in my opinion everyone else TOO.

Sorry was following the current debate didn't know it didn't apply to what seemed to me to be a very broad spectrum of ideas.

Yeah, such a device opens for some scary scenarios doesn't it. Anybody remember how we used to 'cure' in the eye of the society 'incorrigible' humans? By cutting of the connection between the lobes. It was a scientific 'breakthrough' at that time (like? twenty years ago?). To me it was more of a scientific breakdown :) . Its like I say, people love to control each other, its one of our main 'failings' and that 'need', we can only cure our selves ::))
