Do what the Doc says - looks like you're on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
Go to your GP and get some beta-blockers for those panic attacks - take your time-out to reassess your life (when you've got a striaght head on) and devise a plan to take as much of the grief outta your existence as possible, then act on it.
Don't stay @ home - go places, do something different etc as this will assist your recovery, also visit your nearest comedy club (best medicine is laughter)
If all this works, you can pay me back - warning; I only accept currency of the fleshy kind.
I would say that this is probably quite sound advice, apart from the beta-blockers!
The average 'working' person lives a completely crazy life-style that has little to do with the way we have evolved to exist. You may well find that the 'panic attacks' resolve themselves of their own accord, once the unnecessary stress is eliminated.

If you're having symptoms of a breakdown, stop doing whatever it is that is killing you.
Quit your job if need be. I was having such severe headaches at one point that I had MRIs and such.
It was all due to being a hardware guy in a Systems Analyst suit, instead of a propeller-head beanie. I don't make as much money now, but I have a life.
