Math is often important to any discussion of reality. But it can also be used to create magic tricks in alternate reality. Math can even be used to prove one of the miracles of the bible. The miracle I had in mind is the one where Jesus feeds the multitude of 5000 with only a few fish and loaves of bread. Jesus keeps dividing the fish and bread until all are fed and a large amount is left over.

The way this is mathematically possible is by division with a fraction. If he started with 2 fish and divided by 1/2500 he gets 5000 fish. Therefore this miracle has been mathematically demonstrated with an acceptable math procedure, which we have all used before.

I never could figure out how this particular operator not did violate energy conservation. But this is used all the time.

The bible says Jesus kept on dividing, so that meant he did not divide by 1/2500 all at once. It could have divided by 1/5, then by 1/10, then 1/20 and then another 1/5 to get 5000. It is not clear the exact sequence, but he needed to use that particular math operator so the miracle would have math proof. This operator is taught in school and is used in many math proofs.
