I'm new here, so I'm not sure if I was supposed to put this under the "Puzzling Questions" forum or this one. Anyway, I'm doing a research paper on Space Colonization, and one of the requirements is to have a primary resource from someone who's a bit of an expert on the topic. And so here's hoping that someone may be able to answer the questions I have. Thanks in advance.
1. What technologies do you think could be used that would enable humans to live on other planets besides Earth?
2. How do you feel about the plans being brought about to make Mars inhabitable?
3. What setbacks do you think are possible from these plans?

Dragon asked>1. What technologies do you think could be used that would enable humans to live on other planets besides Earth?
Philip answers> There are two divisions here, as mankind as we know him, in public press, is the product of alien cross genetic experimentation.
So the legal questions hover, what rights does man have at what levels.
* I myself side with said Robert Lazar at his level of understanding. This is travel to any planet, using the said S4 Flying Saucer style of technology, under the Nordics, as said to be residents, based at one of the complexes at Area 51.
I have trained hard, in the area of offworld understanding and am skilled in the knowledge of many offworld aliens, by redundantly reading on past recorded UFO and past E.T. contacts, put into print.I have what is known as a wheel barrow full of these book read on this subject.
For others under this heading, who are Earthling, they might want to use what they more conventionally understand as traditional rocket powered, or ion propelled space craft. X This might be their choice. So you see, there should be two levels offered?
2. How do you feel about the plans being brought about to make Mars inhabitable?
Answers> I myself, want nothing to do with Mars, as it was said that a human was let loose, to hunt down there. There are other reasons I want nothing to do with Mars.
For others, knowing all there is to know about Mars, then this might be to their liking?
3. What setbacks do you think are possible from these plans?
Answer. For mankind that is not so adaptable; so adjustment, in many ways.
Alien acceptance, being near aliens of many styles.Intelligence agencies, have covertly admitted and put into print, that many of the moons in this solar system, are already inhabited.
The energy rise, that is now occurring, due to a said energy rise, within the galaxy this system area?
The truth. It seems that the letting of the truth, for some agencies, becomes a problem at times?

Wikipedia is always your friend. There is plenty of infomation
there about Colonization, and it has links to other websites. Give it a read!

@philip347: Thanks! I appreciate the answer very much.
@Nessus: I understand that, but for this paper, the teacher requires a primary resource, in which I pose three questions to someone in person or via the internet.

I would suggest looking at the proposal papers in the Mars Society and www.permanent.com
Best of luck convincing people that space is a resource that we can and should develop.

Email someone like Dr Robert Zubrin. As long as you keep it short you could get a reply. I sent him an email and got a response back before.

What is overlooked in colonizing Mars is the possibility of encroaching upon a world that may already be owned by Martians, who could of resorted to living
underground before their world got bombarded by asteroids, eons ago.
The only way to colonize other worlds, is taking plant seeds and a good supply of
water in order to make things grow. They would also need reusable equipment, detailed reference books (cause computers don't last forever without replacement parts & fixing) and they'd all have to have some profession degree in doctor, scientist, ecology and so forth. Most everything would have to be runned on solar power. For colonists to go to another world, couldn't be any different than discovering the new world, of America continent. The only
difference would possibly be...can't return to earth...unless the spaceship has somekind of unlimited fuel resource.
I believe that John F. Kennedy, Gene Roddenberry and the creator of Babylon 5 are future visionaries who knew the importance of expanding into space and colonizing others worlds. And that if we don't do it after awhile, the earth as we know it would regress into total barbarism of global war. The earth's resources are being used up and any world wars now would deplete everything right up, to where the world would become totally unlivable...as nuclear attacks like the WAR GAMES movie suggest, that everybody stands to lose.
