It seems like 0.3 million years out of 65 million is a very refined time estimate to compare Chicxulub with the KT boundry, even with modern dating methods I believe some sence of accuracy should be stated along with each time measurement. The tektites that are scattered around China, South East Asia and Australia are also from around the KT boundry. Material cast into space might fall over a long period of time as tektites. Also, I have not seen evidence that the die off happened in a few years, though that is one theory. Most likely several events that were started by an impact, including volcunism and methane release from the deep sea, resulted in the die off. More scientific evidence and less philosophy would make a better report.
