Why doesn"t someone test for something more obvious - like maybe the negative correlation between rage/road rage/anger and related stess and cannabis use. I guess it might be because if it does work as a home remedy for these there might be a lot of business for expensive pharmaceuticals at risk.

My question is whether the schizophrenia came first (probably) and if people are simply medicating themselves, as so many people do with alcohol and we know that too much alcohol causes brain damage.

Remember, Autism was rare until recently. Maybe more people are simply being diagnosed than before with better guidelines for a diagnosis (and maybe it is because the population of the world in general has risen so much).

I've known too many people along in my life who have used both cannabis and or alcohol (or both). There are those that use for recreation and there are those that use to escape their stress or their minds. There are also many who are sick with MS or other diseases.

But I keep forgetting, if the pharmaceutical companies don't want to have to compete against it - darn it, they won't.

Let's see, in the United States alone, over 7,000 people die each year from aspirin overdose or over use. Zero deaths can be attributed to cannabis.
