Since combustion requires temperature, as well as fuel and oxygen, can it become SO cold that comb. can not occur?
Possibly............... but please consider stuff like liquid oxygen @ around -200°C;- you know, the stuff injected with kerosene that fuelled the F-1 Saturn V main-stage engines.
