Time travel is completely impossible, if you travel to the past you having done that action changes the whole future, including you deciding whether or not to travel back or even whether or not you exist, thus canceling you out which makes it impossible for you to have traveled back in the first place which stops you from stopping yourself from ever coming into existance, thus you SHOULD exist, but you don't. Its the impossible paradox.

Im thinking this. Under the ocean in certain areas you have large pockets of air/gas trapped under rock. When water eventually erodes the rock the gas rushes to the surface and could disturb boats and such. Plus with the gas gone, water quickly takes its place and this could create a pretty nasty whirlpool.
Yeah, but that won't cause people to vanish off boats, leaving the ships to sail off.

Suppose the 2 triangles are just the residual imbalance of the iron core of the earth as it relates to the last time the poles shifted.

I think the number one explaination for things that happen in the BT is that they didn't happen the way they were reported.

I expect there to be natural sources (confusing island configurations, magnetic disruption, storms) that contributed to the recorded incidents, but nothing unexplainable. Also, when it was mentioned that there were more incidents reported in the Bermuda Triangle than any other area, is just a product of stories of the Bermuda Triangle being reported more than stories of crashes out of the Bermuda Triangle.

One scientifically proven POSSIBILITY for the mysterious disappearance of aircraft and ships in the bermuda triangle has to do with the quantity of methane gas that is frozen at the bottom of the ocean. The frozen pockets of methane have already been documented.
For ships, the process works like this:
If a large enough chunk of methane unfreezes and escapes, then when it breaches the water under a ship, it can push the ship up out of the water. As the methane disperses, it will leave a pocket of air under the ship. Then when the ship falls again, it will fall into the pocket of water that the bubble created. Then, as the ship is sitting in this pocket, the rest of the water comes rushing back in. If the waterline is above the deck line, then the ship can sink.
For aircraft:
Methane can also affect planes in the air in a much more sinister way. Because methane is less dense than air, a pilot flying into a methane pocket will start to see his altimeter tell him that he is climbing altitude at a very fast rate. Naturally, to compensate, the pilot will then dive the nose down. But, all they have succeeded in doing is to put themselves into a very steep nose-dive. Yes, we've all heard the methane idea many times...Even performed the experiment many years ago in grade school. You are a little bit off with your explanation, but we know what you are trying to get across. The ship will not fall into a huge bubble. The idea is that small bubbles make the ship lose buoyancy and sink. Old idea, and not a very good one. It works in the lab, but it takes a lot of bubbles to sink the ship.
You all should watch the film if you get a chance. The History Channel will show it again soon enough. Like I said two years ago...We need real thinkers with an open mind to look into this...Not someone who is book smart, or repeating old ideas, or misinterpreting old ideas.

Piracy doesn't make the news much these days, but according to quite a few friends of mine who own or work on ships and boats in the area, it's a real issue.
My uncles own a company that ships from the Bahamas to West Palm Beach, and they keep a gun locker on board both of their ships with AR-15's and spare clips for each crewman. Piracy doesn't make the news much these days, but according to quite a few friends of mine who own or work on ships and boats in the area, it's a real issue.
My uncles own a company that ships from the Bahamas to West Palm Beach, and they keep a gun locker on board both of their ships with AR-15's and spare clips for each crewman. From what I hear (they're reluctant to talk about it for insurance reasons) their crews have had to arm themselves three times in the 10 years they've been in business.
