Sandra doliak
As you all probably would have known, I am a Designated Marksman working in the UK. I often train at the base and in the hills of kerrera Scotland.

My Greatest achievement ever while using a sniper rifle is that I hit a target at a range of approximately 1.2 KM and I was using a SV-98.

MY job is better because it involves ALOT of physics, such as the Coriolis affect, forces, magnitudes, speed, distance against time, wind resistance, gravity...

Law implies that I work with a partner who helps with all the calculations. We have been best buddies since.

Is your job better?

I'd be interested to know how the Coriolis Effect affects a marksman!!!

So you're military or industry?

I work for the UK MoD buying and supporting kit for UK SF; specifically optics equipment and the air integration side of stuff.

I can't say much more but it involves plenty of travelling and seeing some pretty cool stuff! Not much physics though sad.gif

OOOOOOH, We have a child on board!!! (or kid that goes to school)

Or perhaps, your a fully grown man or woman, who is not responsible enough to get a job.

And your not fully broke? Being fully broke is not the top of my worries at the moment, but rather if you spend more than 5 dollars a day.

C yerz.

The Coriolis effect is actually more complicated than just sitting down on a rotating chair and throwing a ball at your friend and being disappointed when it ALWAYS misses the target.

To be honest, I only shoot when (Bruce) accompanies me, he does all the maths, like with the fictitious force (ac = -2 Omega multiplied by velocity) He often tells me when to shoot, with the often quoted (go, now shoot)

The effect is most important because at assassination ranges and lengths, such as 5000 M and beyond (Barret, Tasco Super Sniper scope must be used), as most bullets travel at about 1500 meters a second, that's 2 seconds. Because of the distance, there will be a change in target location BY A BIT! Its just a bot. (with a barret).

But I AM AMAZED, you work for the Defence force?

KEWL!!

Do you have hensholdt tactical scopes?

see ya!
DavidD
Are you kinda trying rambling bullshit? I don't think you know some math much...

Yep . I'll bite.

Just gave up running a bulk fuel distribution network to become a store man driver.

But my job is much better than yours cause now I get to coach my 8 year old boy in soccer. Currently that makes me number one to the only person I give a *** who cares.

Of course, I was just aware that it is predominantly a large-scale effect (hurricanes, oceaninc currents etc.) and was shocked that it must be taken into account! That's intuition for you I guess smile.gif

I tried to work out how large the effect would be but was disappointed that my rusty math let me down sad.gif

'Fraid not. Most of our eqiuipment is airborne camera turrets and the electronics required to do stuff with the pictures. Moving to a new job working in Force Protection (Electronic Counter Measures) soon... can't wait!!!

Re Dolack; My job, for the time being, is staying put where I'm placed.

I am interested in antimatter engines and off-world space frames, only.Nothing else.

I was hacked into and my identity disclosed.

I really don't like and care for humans, as they have been meddled with and act funny at times.

My long range goal, would be to work off-world, but probably away from selfish self centered types of aliens, regardless as to whether they are more mammal, reptoid or other.

Sayings? Look at the aether around you?Astrophysicist cosmologist Lisa Randal said, that Earth is in a kind of odd gravity well of some sort.

I don't think that she went far enough.I feel that this area of space, is in an aether thickening of sorts.
As a result mankind is under stress and can no longer serve as a slave for the most part.
We are also under a new ice age and a wave of evolution combined.
philip347
Roll on your back very quickly, after you make the shot Sandra.
Look up?

You should have a side arm with you, but this wont do you much good.

A dragons scales, the older type are as hard as steel.

I wont lie and not say that there is a link between me and them.

They inter-phase, in other words go in and out of our dimension.

If you've ever seen medium, sized dragons fly at night, they give a contrail off the wing tips, about the same style as an FA-18.

I know, I have seen it up close.

On the web, Goto baby dragon in a bottle. Then look carefully at the features of the baby?

I am sorry for my comment. You dont exist, as you should have trophies and such if you were legal.
By chance, at 1.2 kms from where Im at, in a place there is not supposed to be anyone, I saw a set of field glasses glint in the sun.

Sorry if Im wrong?

My daughter just began first grade and so, I am actually looking for work in any field if anyone wants me...lol

I have a paralegal degree and am good at most any work, excepting, of course, in the more specialized fields.

Macadamia nut fields, & coffee fields are my forte' as well...heehee

Say Tikay,

You told me awhile back that you were on disability(me too). Is the goverment trying to force you back into work or is it your own free will desire to get back to work?

Oh, whats a paralegal degree, sounds like you are a lawer for ghost's?

Cheers(guess who)

tikay
Yeah...people find it strange that I would risk my disability payments to work again, but it would be a purely personal choice and why I got the meta~para~legal degree ;0)

I want to give my children about ten or 15 acres of land (each) so x 4... by the time i am "outtie", so to speak...lol

If I can manage that I will retire all over again...it's a choice/goal to be more generous with my offspring than my parents (have been, or will be to me)...simple evolution. Hopefully they will manage to be better than that to their children and the chain of events will cause familial evolution.

peace

im guessing....hmmm

id prefer a PM tho~ biggrin.gif

Again, Aw come now Tikay, thats pure capitilist greed on your part, have you asked your daughter her opinion on the matter, I bet she wouldn't trade you for anything, no matter what.

We are both locked in a sort of fixed wage communism, but ask yourself, is it so bad?

Okay, I'll PM you

Oh, by the way, you are a human being, not an atomic particle which feel the need to evolve. laugh.gif

+yep.

But I didn't mean it to sound so "holier than though". Lots of people here have done stuff I would have liked to have done. I was lucky my kids came along when I had achieved enough to not feel threatened by failure.

Anyway. We just finished the soccer season so the end result is DAD GETS THREE, COUNT THEM , THREE sleep-in's a week..... tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

I'm curious just where in this thread, Sandra Doliak is supposed to be threatening to shoot the Queen unsure.gif

She is being accused of this by the ex-member Neil Farbstein:

Isn't being a 'sniper' more of a lifestyle than a work.
Seriously.

And when at work?
Is it a 'policy' to have a 'spotter/judge' at all times or?

Also, was it a dream for you or was it just 'happenstance' that made it.
It is a rather unconventional occupation for any gender.
Even more so for a girl.

You do know the emythology behind your name: )
