Bananas and a Global Warming Crisis

Why do people believe that bananas should never be put in the refrigerator? Answer: Because Chiquita Banana has been telling people for 63 years not to put bananas in the refrigerator. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFDOI24RRAE

Why do people believe there is a Global Warming Crisis? Answer: Because Al Gore has been telling people for 3 years that there is a Global Warming Crisis. http://www.climatecrisis.net/

I don't believe that there is a Global Warming Crisis.
I can't prove that there is no Global Warming Crisis.

I don't believe that bananas should not be put in the refrigerator.
I can prove that bananas should be put in the refrigerator; to wit:

Put half a new bunch of bananas at room temperature.
In a week, the bananas will be brown, soft, and spoiled inside.

Put half a new bunch of bananas in the refrigerator.
In a week, the bananas will be brown, firm, and unspoiled inside.

Why do millions of people believe Chiquita Banana after 63 years?
Why do millions of people believe an Al Gore movie after 3 years?
Answer: Because people are extremely gullible. Examples abound.

You're doing it again.

(apples + oranges) != (bananas + gore)

Try Netflix or Fox News or something. Logic is not in your skill set.

Common Sense often trumps Logic in the real world.
Common Sense is an antidote for gullibility.

Did you know that the Eiffel Tower was sold to two different people who used Logic?
Did you know that the Mona Lisa was sold to five different people who used Logic?
Granouille
Well, magister logicia, what does your 'common' sense say when I say you are an imbecile?

Jesus, this kind of crap is why I don't come here...

My common sense says that you are a very angry man with no sense of humor.
My feeling is that you have recently lost money due to a lack of common sense.

Can you at least appreciate the fallacy of the Chiquita Banana commercial?
Chiquita Banana has traumatized millions of housewives for over 63 years
every time they purchased a bunch of bananas. Just ask your wife.

And yes, the Eiffel Tower was sold multiple times to people who used logic
but had little common sense... as was the Mona Lisa.
It is a very interesting story.

From this day forward...

When I see my face in the mirror,

I will say to myself:

AN IMBECILE TAUGHT ME EVERYTHING I KNOW

about bananas.
