What do you think? Is it a trick of the light, or did we actually capture a picture of life on Mars? I personally think that it's just a strangely shaped shadow, but you never know...

The distance from which that picture was taken is a critical piece of information. If it is a few feet like the website at the end of the article suggests, it is not the size of a human.

If it was taken from a distance/height of 300 ft, it is more likely to be the size of a human, but even then the chances of it being any living organism is very less. If they had a video of some kind of movement, then that would be really exciting.

Humans have always looked at mars and let their imagination run loose. Have you heard of this one from the 70s?

I read that while they were testing one of the mars probes in a desert, a tortoise wandered past and the probe was unable to detect it. This may be an urban myth though.

I have also heard that aliens once logged into physorg in their search for intelligent life and gave up in disgust. laugh.gif

I heard that they might have stayed, but the first person who replied to their posts was Mr. Robin Parsons. They ran away after that laugh.gif .

That's the best picture I've seen of Bigfoot yet!

So THATS where I dropped my little statue! I went to Mars to explore all those really cool "caves" that they have found, and took my favorite statue for a good luck charm. I was wondering where she has been! <wimper>

Yeah, I'm worried that Parson's "feeeling" it may produce a hybrid ph34r.gif

LOL. My "it" wasn't intended to be a shot at Parsons rather a response to some other "person" that unfortunately did apparently procreate. Geez. LOL.

Yes, the 'news' is always 'totally freaky'. (I) make it that way. ph34r.gif

There was some serious science fiction based on the probability that large creatures existed on the surface of Mars, in the 1960s.
I think that if the little being shown in the foreground, is an arboreal critter of some sort, then this must be the short surface population.
There must be other creatures there then too?
