I'm a college student thinking of going to Japan to study abroad, and I was wondering if I could ask your opinions on the Fukushima Daiichi incident. Travel to Japan isn't prohibited, but the effects of radiation only let themselves be known as time progresses, so it's hard to say whether or not it's safe to go there. Also, with all of the conflicting information that's been out there, it's more and more complicated to form a decision I won't have to feel regretful about. Therefore, if you could please offer some kind, precise insight to someone who has little knowledge of chemistry, I would be quite grateful. :3 Oh, it would probably help to know where I intend to stay, wouldn't it? I'm thinking of studying in the Kyoto area.
Thanks for reading.
