Maybe they should have talked to Moon Unit or Dweezle Zappa! laugh.gif

I must admit, I never really like my given first name and now go by my middle name which I prefer.

Do you like your name? Would you have preferred another?

What about a Ethnic names given to children under ten, with an offensives sound a-like oooww that rhymes with [............] like with poo. Makes a Man of Central European parental heritage raise his heavy axes/swords at both deathly pale red and ugly big snouted blue, who who rhymes with poo. mad.gif

Seems like there's something to it even when the name seems normal but has 'connotations'. Former neighbors, low income at that, named there first child, a girl, Amber Lynn. By the time she was 7, she was caught having oral sex. You have to wonder...

Hey soundhertz,

It seems middle names can be dangerous. laugh.gif

I’ll tell you what the problem is right now.
There are some big cities that when you go into, you don’t drop slang derivatives describing certain ethnic racial groups.
You just don’t, unless either you want jumped or your car tires slashed.
There are also some parts of the country, reservations I think they call them, that if you not of a certain affiliation, then don’t run out of gas and stay to the main roads.
On my gripe, because I had no choice but to disclose, after I was hacked into by a certain someone or a group here, there are about fourteen known groups on that contact list, that either could have known what I went through, or been privy to that I was under attack and stress.
This not being broke down in the wrong places, goes a little further than the territory of Earth.
Maybe one day your astronauts will travel a little deeper?
How do you think in your isolated views that you did no damage by you harassments here, that by certain communications, your group has not harmed the welfare of certain astronaut groups and their future intentions?
We don’t need harassment here, Leave the people alone who want to discuss scientific topics.
Your flavoring others futures and well beings, by your actions here.
Does it take a behind doors closed meeting in Langley Virginia, to maybe decide that the drunken cigar store stereotypes, are doing plenty of damage for your civilization?

How many boys with the surname Holmes were given the name John, later to become demoralized because they were never able to quite measure up.

I have often wondered if having a name shared with boys (Tracey) helped to create the obvious childhood "Tomboy" in me. I think that it must have contributed something to my roguishness.

I'm from a rural area of the U.S. Deep South, and have tales of horror for you concerning names.

I won't share them here. ohmy.gif
