I hadn't checked back here in a while, but this is an interesting perspective. Does the human body respond same to nanoparticles as to, say, a virus? I'd guess so, but obviously an experiment attempting to "infect" someone with a nanoparticle would not be popularly considered.

It dawned upon me the other day that viruses are just self-replicating nanoparticles. That is the source of their damage. Other than them, the main worry about nanoparticles should be just their toxicity, I think. unsure.gif
